Abalone Alliance

The Abalone Alliance is a non-governmental activist organization and was formed in May of 1977 when 70 activists from across California came together over concern about Pacific Gas and Electric's (PG+E) plans to build and operate the Diablo Canyon nuclear facility near San Luis Obispo. The main goal of the organization is to oppose nuclear power through direct action and education. Some full-text sources require subscription to be viewed. English version is poorly updated. Press-center keeps only two sections: news (with full-text articles openly available) and media-library with one clip only. There is a useful graph of the ministry structure and clear timeline of ministry history.
